The Affordable Housing Summit

Jason Glover

Jason has served on various boards ranging from fundraising, profit to non-profit, governance to academic sectors. Jason’s appointment to the Social Security Tribunal and the Veterans Review and Appeal Board allowed him to interview, evaluate, and write clear and binding decisions. This role required deft adjudication between parties, and the application of sound judgment and critical thinking skills. Jason is a member of the University of Toronto at Scarborough Campus Council. He has worked with a number of committees in order to provide scholarships for students and increase engagement and visibility with the different academic departments. He has also partnered with the university to create an endowment called the Jason G. Glover Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Award. As a member of the Society of Ontario Adjudicators and Regulators, Jason helped promote administrative justice and provide education through partnership with the Law Society of Ontario and with the Osgoode Hall School for Continuing Education. Finally, his appointment to the OPTrust from 2018 to April 2021 entailed helping to administer a jointly sponsored pension plan with the Government of Ontario and the Ontario Public Sector Union.
