Neel Joshi

Neel is the Dean of Student Experience & Wellbeing at the University of Toronto Scarborough, with over 15 years of high-level experience in education, banking, and community development. His work spans various domains, including recruitment, diversity outreach, and global partnerships, with notable contributions at York University, UofT Law, and Rotman School of Management. He founded the Rotman OnBoard and City Lab Fellowship programs and co-created a course on Black Entrepreneurship with Wes Hall.
Neel has driven impactful collaborations with organizations like The Black North Initiative and McKinsey & Company, enhancing student experiences. A proud Scarborough native, he is dedicated to showcasing its diversity. He holds a BCom from Toronto Metropolitan University and completed an executive program at UPenn, where he also served as a teaching fellow. Neel enjoys family time at Scarborough Bluffs during weekends.
